In the first part, I was really mad at Franklin. We had just finished a major event (like the Feast or something), and Franklin and I were getting ready to enjoy some well earned R&R - but then Franklin went and promised our neighbors from down the hall that we would babysit their 2 extrememly rambunctious kids for a week. I was so furious. I was litterally screaming at him.
In the second part, my brother Tom and I were looking for an apartment in Jerusalem. We looked at the Jerusalem Gold, which wasn’t a hotel, but an apartment bloc. We went into the manager’s first level apartment, and marvelled that it was somehow beachfront property. You could see the wave breaking just outside the window. Unfortunately, we later noticed that there was also a set of train tracks right outside, and the trains often parked in front of the building, completely blocking off the beach view.
Tom and I decided that we didn’t really like the Jerusalem Gold, so we decided to look elsewhere. We got on the train, and noticed for the first time that the tracks actually went underneath the apartment building - but when it went under, it became more like a roller-coaster, picking up speed and swooping around turns. It was great fun.
